Zhaowei Wang
My name is Zhaowei Wang. I had obtained my B.E. degree in Software Engineering, Jinan University in 2014. And I will receive M.S. degree in Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017. Currently I am a postgraduate in pFind Group, Institute of Computing Technology.
I have been studying bioinformatics under the supervision of Prof. Si-Min He in pFind Group since 2014.

-> As one of the Members in the department, planned "School Fair of Jinan University" activities and organize "Key members training of college student" activities as well as Meeting of the League Branch Secretary with others.

-> As the team leader with other class cadre, organized all classmates to take part in the "Class psychological health education competetion" and obtained third prize. As one of the class basketball members and Badminton team captain, participated in several match of college and school.
Innovative practice bases of mathematical modeling: Member of the academic department 05/2011 - 04/2013
-> As the group leader of academic research, organized schoolmates to take part in national undergraduate innovation program and periodically discuss the progress of project. Ultimately, successfully published four papers on international journals with the first author's identity.

-> Responsible to do literature review, interview student and do question investigation in "research career maturity of college students after 1990s" project. Organized the training of mathematical contest in modeling, grade papers of each team and interviewed each new team. Responsible for the daily management of innovative practice bases.
Project Experience
National college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program project: Project leader 05/2012 - 05/2013
-> The project mainly research the performance evaluation in color-based image retrieval using artificial bee colony algorithm. Through extracting the image color moments, color information entropy and color histogram as eigenvalue to establish a image retrieval system. Using global and Local optimization strategy of Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm to compare with the traditional retrieval algorithm then hoisting retrieval speed and precision. Finally, published a research paper in foreign magazines registered by the EI.
Peking University mobile video research center summer internship: Project member 08/2013 - 09/2013
-> During the internship, as project member of "multi-license plate recognition for the mainland", finished the system testing and recognition accuracy statistics of the location module. In the second phase, improved accuracy of character segmentation through profiling error and improved partitioning algorithm.
National college students' academic challenge cup race technology works: Project member 05/2012 - 10/2012
-> "social mobilization in the Internet Epoch, web charity research" mainly research the main path of web charity, audience segmentation and participation psychology through questionnaires. As a project member, responsible to interviews with students, design and issue the questionnaires and so on.
Innovative ractice bases of mathematical modeling add-in project: Project member 05/2011 - 08/2013
-> Through "package printing automate detection and identification" project, known about image processing technology, and then participated in the project of Enterprise Management System in which I was responsible to achieve the order forecasting module. Finally, under the teacher`s guidance, as the project member of "research career maturity of college students after 1990s", I was responsible to interview students, design questionnaire, statistic data and analyze data.
